Contegra Webiste

July 2010:

  • The new Contegra Construction website is up. This was a total redesign with emphasis on video, client testimonials, and project galleries. See the live site here [ext.]. Coded by Think Tank [ext.].
  • The Fond restaurant website is almost complete! Want to know when it goes live? Follow Fond on Facebook [ext.] or Twitter [ext.] to be the first to know.

June 2010:

  • The new Township Grocer splash page(s) are up. This is only to get them started, and will be a full site later this year. View the site here: http://www.townshipgrocer.com/ [ext.]. All photography by Kevin Zimarik [ext.].
  • Kevin will be doing all of the photography for the upcoming Fond website. Look for that in July.

May 2010:

  • Wow. I've been so busy that I haven't been able to update my own site! And the bummer part of it is that all of the projects I have been working on are not yet public. So, you'll have to wait a bit longer to get a look at them.
  • The I [heart] Roller Derby has become the most frequently downloaded wallpaper, with octopus in "Tank 5" taking 2nd place.
  • The Gems of Virtues game board is now shipping! It looks great. A little birdie told me that it scored 8s and 9s (out of 10) with Mensa.

November 2009:

October 2009:

September 2009:

  • Created a new logo for Strumming for Vets [ext.].
  • Just switched out my portfolio's jQuery Lightbox for Galleriffic plug-in. Also, trying out the Feedback plug-in from Get Satisfaction [ext.] (see tab on far right.)
  • Working on some custom graphics for a Bay Area roller derby player.
  • Still looking for a client that wants a CD or DVD package/artwork done.

About me:

I am a graphic designer, front-end Web designer and digital artist.  I have been doing graphic design work since 1990—beginning with X-Acto knives, tape, and harsh chemicals; then PageMaker on a monochrome Macintosh SE—with the majority of my portfolio work having been created using Adobe CS2/3/4 on both platforms (Mac and PC.)

Over the years, I have worked with/on ecommerce web design, darkroom, silkscreen, offset lithography, 4-color proofing (hand laying each color using lightbox and loop), audio and video recording/editing (Pro Tools + Avid), jQuery, Google SketchUp, and performance footwear technology.

Lately, my influences are Banksy, Cuban poster art, Mark Ecko, Good magazine, Bill Scott [ext.], Kalle Lasn, House Industries, indie album-covers and posters, Stefan Lucut [ext.], steamcrow.com [ext.], Sailor Jerry, Anthony White [ext.] and Alex Grey (Tool.)
